CTF-SpaceRock

For this project I was tasked with creating two seperate projects as part of my Final Year Project module as part of my Masters Degree at Staffordshire Univeristy.

This Capture the Flag level is one of the two projects that I ended up creating during the time frame that I had for this module.

Space Rock is a map set in space with the main combat area being built inside a meteoroid, where the players will be able to play a Capture the Flag game mode with friends or AI.

The map features multiple different guns, as well as a selection of armour and healing items that extend the gameplay and life of how long a player is alive while playing the game in the Unreal Tournament game.

Throughout the project I created a variety of different parts to the level including:

• Level Drawings - Designed to get a rough idea of how the level would look before going ahead and creating it as a blockout in engine.

• Level Blockout - Designed in the Unreal Tournament editor following the designs drawn to create a level that can then be taken further into the development process.

• Fully Meshed Level - Meshing the level was the final stage of the level, including lighting the scene so that the players could see what was happening once the level was packaged.
